How AI generates detailed customer personas and expansion opportunities
Overview
AskUsers uses AI to research and analyze each customer, creating detailed personas that inform personalized outreach. The AI researches the customer's company via web search and generates structured insights.

Each customer analysis uses 1 credit. Email generation is included free with analysis.
How It Works
Domain Extraction
AI extracts the email domain (e.g., @acme.com from john@acme.com).
Public email domains (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.) are filtered out as they don't represent companies.
Web Research
AI performs Google Search to research the company:
- Company website and description
- Industry and business model
- Recent news and updates
- Product offerings and target market
Persona Generation
Based on research, AI generates a structured persona including:
- Company Profile - What the company does
- Usage Hypothesis - How they likely use your product
- Growth Potential - Expansion opportunity rating
- Outreach Strategy - Personalization hooks and tone
Email Draft
AI uses the persona to generate a personalized email:
- Contextual subject line
- Personalized opening hook
- Value proposition aligned to their needs
- Clear call-to-action
Persona Structure
Each AI-generated persona includes:
Company Information

Confidence Levels
AI assigns a confidence level to each analysis:

|---|---|
| High | Clear company information found, reliable analysis |
| Medium | Some information found, reasonable inferences |
| Low | Limited information, analysis may be less accurate |
Low-confidence analyses should be reviewed carefully. Consider editing the persona manually before outreach.
Batch Analysis
Analyze multiple customers at once:
- Select customers from the list (checkbox)
- Click Analyze Selected
- Monitor progress in the queue
- View results as they complete
Batch Options

| Include Generic | Analyze even if email domain is public (Gmail, etc.) |
Editing Personas
You can manually edit any AI-generated persona:
- Click on a customer row to open details
- Click Edit Persona
- Modify any field
- Click Save
Edited personas are preserved even if you re-run analysis (unless you choose to overwrite).
Analysis Language
AI analysis can be conducted in:
- English (default)
- Chinese (中文)
Set your preferred language in Settings → Outreach Configuration → Analysis Language.
Public Domain Handling
Emails from public providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.) receive a generic analysis since company research isn't possible. The AI will:
- Acknowledge the limitation
- Generate a more general outreach email
- Focus on discovering their use case through questions
